Jayne's Story

Jayne Critelli is a highly educated and accomplished composer, arranger, singer, and pianist.  She graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music and Manhattanville College with degrees in composition and education. You may have heard her national commercials for Coca Cola, “You Can’t Beat The Feelin’ and Lysol, “Put On A Shining Face”. Jayne has worked with revered artists such as Dionne Warwick, John Waitt, David Sanborn, Michael Bolton, Warren Bernhardt, Will Lee, Steve Jordan, Valerie Simpson, and Paul Shaffer to name a few. Academy award winning composer and friend, Alan Menken, encouraged Jayne to audition for the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop where she honed her skills composing music for theater. Also a graduate of the selective Eugene O’Neill Cabaret symposium, as well as an Alexander Technique scholar, Jayne has cultivated a vast knowledge of performance. As a professor of piano, voice and music composition she has inspired many and fostered songwriting talent.

 

Jayne has recently begun releasing her music. ”Woman Of The World” an empowering anthem to lift all women, and “Long After The Music Plays” a touching ballad for anyone missing a loved one, are the first singles. Jayne's music emanates from a place of authenticity, evoking genuine emotions and leaving a lasting impression. She is currently working on more music and developing her upcoming live show to showcase her prowess.
